This is the format for the self-evaluations you will be turning in to me the class period after your speech. Address the following thoroughly in paragraph form.

- Discuss your confidence or lack thereof before, during and after the
speech. Describe how you felt.
- Identify the amount and kind of preparation you engaged in before the
speech.
- React to the video tape - please, discouraged, horrified, surprised,
enlightened, etc. and give specific examples which support your reaction.
- Identify what your strengths in the speech were.
- Identify areas where you can improve/goals for the next speech. Be
specific. "Giving a better speech or getting an A" are not specific
goals. Identify what you will work on to give a better speech and get a
better grade (i.e. I will practice outloud, try to reduce the number of
vocalized pauses, work on a more organized outline, etc.).
