Dr. Diane Vorbroker
Biology Instructor

I joined the full time faculty at Cincinnati State in February of 2006.  My doctorate is in Developmental Biology- I studied pulmonary surfactant, which is the mucous that coats our lungs and helps our lungs exchange oxygen.  Artificial surfactant has saved the lives of many premature infants.  I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of teaching and love the atmosphere here at Cincinnati State.

I was born and raised in Cincinnati but went away for college and part of graduate school.  I have a husband, 3 kids, 2 cats, fish, and a leopard gecko.
