Welcome to Cincinnati State's Civil
Engineering Technology (CET) program. Founded in 1968,
the CET program has consistently produced more
graduates annually than any other similar program in
the United States. The program combines the unique
talents of its faculty with technologically advanced
curriculum to provide our students with a competitive
edge as they advance into the workforce or pursue
further education.
There are three majors that award
associate degrees - Architectural, Construction
Management, and Surveying. All of these majors are
accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission
of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and
Technology and the program has held this accreditation
for over 25 years. Graduates of the program are
qualified to enter the workforce or can pursue further
studies at 4-year institutions. The Civil Engineering
Technology program has very good transfer agreements
set up with local institutions including Northern
Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati.
The program has also created a
number of certificates to address the needs of
professionals within the industry. The Advanced
Surveying Certificate, the Land Surveying Certificate,
and the Construction Safety Certificate all provide
vital education above the two-year level and are
targeted at professionals already working in various
disciplines.
