Students alternate
five terms of
classroom instruction
with five terms of
co-op in order to
obtain their associate
degree. This gives
the graduate a full
year of work
experience in the
field of study, and
gives an edge when the
time comes to seek
full-time employment.
Cooperative education
takes place beginning
the second term of the
student's enrollment,
and usually continues
alternating with the
school work throughout
the remainder of the
degree program. This
opportunity allows the
student to practice
and apply the theory
that is taught in the
classroom and the lab,
as well as a chance to
earn money to pay for
their education!
