The art of Winold Reiss becomes larger than life for millions of people who visit the airport each year. The 20-by-20-foot mosaic masterpieces originally adorned the walls of Cincinnati's Union Terminal Railway Station, but were moved to the airport in 1974 in an effort to preserve them. Reiss' art deco murals are more than a testament to progress and technology. They are lasting icons to the strength and dignity of the American worker.
